Thomas graduated from Virginia Tech in 2020 with a double major in Applied Mathematics and Computational Modeling and Data Analytics where he worked on multiple research projects involving large linear systems, machine learning, and physical simulation. He hopes to use this experience to continue pursuing new and exciting research problems in computational science and engineering. He is currently a PhD student at Georgia Tech.
